3. Why do you think it is so hard to sense what God may be saying to you or leading you to do?
4. In Acts 8:26-40; Philip is told by the Angel of the Lord to go down the road from Jerusalem to Gaza. How do you think the Holy Spirit told him to do this?
5. It would be so much easier if God spoke to us audibly. Why doesn’t he do this all of the time? What if he did, would you obey him any differently then when he speaks to you in other ways?
6. The Eunuch asks Philip to explain the passage he is reading. Have you ever been asked to explain the Bible to someone? What did you say? How did that person respond?
7. There were two callings in this story: the call of Philip to share the Gospel and the Eunuch to accept Jesus Christ. What happened when both accepted these calls in their lives?
8. How have to accepted God’s call on your life whether it was to share the Gospel with someone else, or accept it for yourself? How did this change your life?
PRAY
Jesus-I sometimes wish you would speak to me in a very clear audible way. It would in many ways make it easier to know what I should do. However, I’m grateful that I can hear from you through the Bible, events in my life, and through other Godly people. I pray that when you call me to do something, that I would know it is you and obey. In your name I pray. Amen.
