Worship-Why it Can‘t Be Stopped, Part 1

Worship of Jesus can't be stopped. Even if we stop worshipping, the Bible says the very rocks will cry out. But why can't it be stopped? There are many Christians around the world who risk being jailed or even worse as they gather to worship Jesus. Why do they risk their very lives to do this? In this message will discover why they take this risk and why worshipping Jesus can't be stopped.

Worship-Why Anyone Can but Not Everyone Will

Worship is an exclusive event. It's not for everyone. While everyone is invited to worship Jesus Christ, not everyone will. In this message, we will see why this is the case, and why some who refuse to worship Jesus oppose those who do.  

Worship-Why the Who Matters More Than the Where

It can be so easy for us to be caught in where worship happens. Beautiful cathedrals and church buildings have been built for people to worship God. However, In the second message in the series through the books of Ezra and Nehemiah, we'll see why it's not where we worship that matters, but who we worship.

Science...or Faith...

Faith or Science
With this in mind, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught. Luke 1:3-4
1. Misconception #1: Good Scientists become Atheists
2. Misconception #2: Science is making God Irrelevant.
“The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Colossians 1:15-17
3. Misconception #3: Science is the Path to Certainty.
4. Misconception #4: Having Faith means you can’t believe in ______.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16
5. Misperception #5: Faith means Ignoring Evidence
Science and Faith

What is the Truth

I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world. For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
