Revelation 6:1-17
Psalm 23
(NASB 2020)
The journey to the future is HARD for everyone with the result of LIFE in Christ for some and DEATH for others.
Martin Luther: I would not give one moment of heaven for all the joy and riches of the world, even if it lasted for thousands and thousands of years.
C.S. Lewis: Has this world been so kind to you that you should leave with regret? There are better things ahead than any we leave behind.
John Burke, Imagine Heaven -”How you think about Heaven affects everything in life - how you prioritize love, how willing you are to sacrifice for the long term, how you view suffering, what you fear or don’t fear.”
Jonathan Edwards: The way to Heaven is ascending; we must be content to travel uphill, though it be hard and tiresome, and contrary to the natural bias of our flesh.
Jesus is the one and only judge between who’s in and who’s out. He defines who his church is, not us
